Love without loss or limits
There are many levels of life which we cannot see and know, yet which certainly exist. There is a larger world, vast enough to include immortality … Our spiritual natures belong to this larger world … If death is apparently an outward fact, immortality is an inner certainty. – M. Hall
One of the most difficult challenges in life is saying goodbye to a beloved. But in our Cherokee language there is no actual word for “goodbye”; this word is too final. We say Stiyu, which means “Be strong”.
Instead of saying "goodbye", we can choose to honor their stages of life while standing strong. Instead of falling into darkness, depression, and despair, we can find a new Inner Standing. Before, during, and after the grieving process, we can honor their body's death as an ending to one chapter of life and the beginning of another. For as the more conscious beings know, there is no real death.
The Cherokee and other wise and grounded First Nation tribes were not the only ones who knew life does continue after the body's death. The ancient Egyptians referred to a beloved's death as "Going Westward". This is because the sun "died" every day in the western horizon, only to be reborn the next morning in the east. They, along with many other ancient groups - including the Celtic tribes - regarded death as a temporary interruption, rather than the cessation of life.
These ancient civilizations knew that all life on earth was only one part of an eternal journey. Whether you were a Standing One (tree), and Winged One, a companion animal, or human being, when one's body could no longer sustain life, the soul did not die with it; the soul continued onward. Then eventually, when the soul was ready, one would received back all that one had thought lost.
Our beloveds are not really "gone". They are with us In Spirit. - The most natural and free form of their many life stages. Who they Truly are cannot be contained by this world. They are Eternal Beings.
After suffering for many years, I finally learned this truth. Through countless In-Spirit readings, I have been a humble witness for families who have watched their beloved leave this world. Every time, I Am honored, humbled, and amazed by what I discover through the furry, scaly, and feathered loved ones beyond the veil.
Our loved ones are not "gone". Do not forget them. Do not despair. They walk with us, In Spirit. They are healed, whole, at peace, empowered, and perfect in every way. NOW.
Our heartfelt hope is for everyone to know and feel this, too.
We invite you to read a short poem we wrote entitled, “Love without Loss or Limits”. May these words help you understand more about this powerful, life-changing truth our beloveds want us to know. May these words bring your heart and mind comfort and peace.
“For the things which are seen are temporal. But the things which are not seen are eternal."
