Chakras are a window into our pet's psychological, emotional,, and physical states of being.   And because pets are so sensitive, their chakras shift quite often!  Performing regular chakra checks allows us to identity imbalances within our pet's physical, emotional, and energetic body before they become a greater challenge.

Part of the Pet Puzzle

Most animals have 8 Major chakras, up to 21 Minor chakras, and 6 smaller energy points known as Bud chakras (paw pads and the bud of skin at the opening of the ears). The main Chakras govern responses to surrounding energy. The 3 chakras found in the lower part of the body (root, sacral & solar plexus) govern basic survival needs. The four chakras in the upper body (heart, throat, third eye & crown) govern mental processes and connection to higher realms. Companion Animals have an 8th chakra that humans do not have: a brachial chakra. This chakra is a window into their connection with their person, and it governs the other chakras! 

Wheels of Light

The word ​chakra comes from the Sanskrit language and it means "wheel" or vortex. 🌀 Chakras are energy centers. They are quite literally wheels of Light.  Each chakra has its own corresponding color of light.  All living beings have these!  - Dogs, cats, people, dolphins, parrots, horses, rats, frogs, you name it!  These Wheels of Light are a virtual road map to the energetic body. ​

Outward Reflection of What's Within

When chakras are open, spinning properly, and balanced, we tend to find that all is well within body and mind. But when even one chakra is out of alignment, it can affect the entire system.
Each energy center reflects a different aspect of one's life and one's consciousness at that moment. When these energy centers flow smoothly, our animal companions feel vital and healthy. When they're blocked, they can feel stressed and off-balance. We see this imbalance manifest as emotional, behavioral, and/or medical issues.
To better understand the chakras, we should really think of them more as energy centers instead of anything mystical, as this is a more appropriate description for their role in the horse’s wellbeing. Energy centers bring in new energy and release the old, much like the heart refreshes and cleanses blood. These key hubs distribute energy throughout the field, just as the heart pumps blood throughout arteries and veins around the body. Any blockages or flow reductions in the energy centers result in dramatic effects on the individual, just as clogged arteries or clots create a devastating impact on the body. When contracted or misshapen, energy centers are unable to flow at optimum rates, resulting in areas of disconnection and withdrawal throughout the field – the same way a blocked heart cannot properly send blood through the body. - HORSE-HUMAN RELATIONSHIP SHAMAN WISDOM

Energy Medicine  at a Glance

Dowsing with Proper Tools 

One of the most effective ways Conscious Companion can evaluate the current state of the chakras is to use a pendulum for the purpose of dowsing.  A pendulum is a simple device that helps to increase sensitivity to the energy flow of each chakra; the pendulum acts as an amplifier.  Conscious Companion is an expert at this pendulum technique, as we have been learning and practicing with people and pets for over a decade. NOTE: Advanced Energy Medicine Teachers do not recommend using crystals to check chakras. The best pendulums for this purpose are made of beechwood, and are more pear shaped. The reason why is simple: The chakra energy fields are easily diffused, easily permeated, and also pear shaped.
