Hummingbird Wisdom: How Are You Expending Your Energy?
Are you saying YES to everything in the world and ignoring your needs? As an Empath, it's easy to become burned out, frustrated, and exhausted from caring so much for others. But here's the catch: Self love and self care allows us to better care for those we love most. Take Time Out for Yourself. As the Humming bird totem reminds us, "The sweetest nectar is within!"
Healing Together with Mother Earth
“No human is as wise as Mother Earth. She has witnessed every human day, every human struggle, every human pain, and every human joy. For maladies of both body and spirit, the wise ones of old pointed man to the hills. Mother Earth stands ready to nurture and heal her children.” ― Anasazi Foundation, The Seven Paths: Changing One's Way of Walking in the World
Grounding can be profoundly healing on many levels. This video will give you some tips on how you can quickly and easily ground your energy, how this assists Mother Earth, and why it's vital we practice this every day. Enjoy!
Got Fear? Get Grounded.
“Get yourself grounded and you can navigate even the stormiest roads in peace.” ― Steve Goodier
Grounding is one way to lift our energy & raise our vibration.💫 Grounding is a technique that shifts us into the present moment. Being grounded reorients us; it gets out of future-thinking or past-thinking; both of which can cause fear, anxiety, and depression. Grounding is the practice of energetically connecting to Earth. This releases negative energy from your field into the ground, and draws positive energy from Mother Nature into your field and chakras, which replenishes and recharges your whole being. Grounding is helpful to manage overwhelming feelings or intense anxiety. It helps us to gain clarity & heart-centeredness after an intense emotional state.
As an Empath who used to suffer from extreme anxiety and depression I understand all too well how we can easily become overwhelmed by our fearful thoughts, by what others around us are saying/doing, by the current fearful energies, and by what we are witnessing right now. So I make a point to ground a LOT. My favorite way to ground is to be at the beach. Just being near water, and having the Earth's powerful magnetic pull under my feet will ground my energy and center my mind. It also helps me to focus on my breathing. Have you noticed that when you get anxious, your whole body tenses up and your breath moves from deep and calming, to shallow and light? This kind of shallow breathing keeps the anxiety alive in your body. If the body can’t relax, neither can the mind. Take deep, full breaths all the way down into your belly. Breathe in through your nose and as you exhale through your mouth, make your exhale longer than your inhale. This deep breathing signals the body to relax and helps calm your mind and spirit. If we want to move out of painful emotions and stressful thoughts, we can GROUND. It helps to move us out of critical, judgmental thinking, and it anchors our energy to Mother Earth ✨ Nature is pure love & divine consciousness. Allow them to source you. 💚💙💛✨💫
“When I stopped searching for home within others and lifted the foundations of home within myself I found there were no roots more intimate than those between a mind and body that have decided to be whole.” ― Rupi Kaur

If you, friends, or family are Empaths, you are invited to join our loving community page. I created it for anyone interested in learning about the sensitivities, needs, and traits of Empaths.
“One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldn't as individuals. When we pool our strength, and share the work and responsibility, we can welcome many people, even those in deep distress, and perhaps help them find self-confidence and inner healing.”
